・More info : If users have the ability to, as a potential workaround, users can leverage the Outlook desktop client.
・Current status : We’ve identified that a recent code change was resulting in impact.
On Monday, May 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM UTC, we completed reversion of the Outlook on the web service to the previous healthy build version to resolve the issue.
We’ve validated through internal testing and received reports from previously impacted users that the issue is no longer occurring.
For users to receive the healthy build version of Outlook on the web, they will need to refresh their browser cache.
This can be manually initiated for immediate recovery, or the natural browser cache should update within 24 hours or after launching a few new sessions of Outlook on the web. We’ve entered a period of extended recovery to confirm resolution.

We’re testing internally and working with impacted users to validate that the reversion has resolved the issue.

We’re investigating these claims to confirm that it is a viable workaround for those customers able to use the Outlook desktop client.

Additionally, we’ve identified a recent code change which interacted with this part of the service and its deployment cadence matches with the reports of impact.
We’re reviewing the specifics of the update to confirm that it is the underlying root cause.
