・”Microsoft 365 for the web（Word for the web、Excel for the web、PowerPoint for the web）” 上で [コピーを作成する] の機能をりようするユーザーが多い運用環境の場合、コピーの作成が行えないことによりエスカレーションが寄せられることが想定されます。
事象が発生しているユーザーには、”OneDrive for Business” や “SharePoint Online” にアクセスしてアイテムの一覧から [コピー] を選択肢することで、コピーの作成を行うことができるため、回避策として案内しましょう。
・テナントの管理者ユーザーは “Microsoft 365 管理センター” 内の [サービス正常性] より、”OO1202986（https://admin.cloud.microsoft/#/servicehealth/history/:/alerts/OO1202986）” を定期的に確認することを推奨します。

エンドユーザー向けの回避策

“OneDrive for Business” や “SharePoint Online” にアクセスし、アイテムの一覧でコピー対象のアイテムを右クリックし、[コピー] を選択後、コピー先を指定して [ここにコピー]　を選択することで回避できます。

This issue specifically affects use of the create a copy online function and choosing a location that differs from the default location on Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel web apps.
Users encounter an error that states, “Copy could not be created…There was a problem creating a copy of this file. Please try again in some time.” Impact is intermittent and retries may be successful.
To avoid this issue, users can access Microsoft OneDrive and navigate to the files list, then click “Copy to” to create a copy; but if users open a file as a Word document and attempt to create a copy from it, it may fail.

Scope of Impact

Some users that are using the “Create a Copy” function in Microsoft 365 for the web apps may be intermittently impacted.
This information may be updated as our investigation continues.

Root cause

A recent deployment to the Word web experience introduced a compatibility issue between various Microsoft 365 for the web apps and is preventing the “Create a Copy” functionality from working as expected.

Current Status

We’ve completed the deployment of our fix for the impact manifesting within the Microsoft Word on the web app.
We’re finalizing our fix deployment for Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, and we’re anticipating impact may be fully remediated by the time of our next scheduled update, at which point we’ll verify recovery through our internal telemetry.

We’ve begun deploying a set of code fixes that we’re anticipating should resolve the impact within the Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint web apps.
We’re aiming to fully deploy these fixes by the time of our next scheduled update, and we’ll provide a timeline for full remediation across the remaining impacted web apps as it becomes available.
