Microsoft が提供する Microsoft 365 のメッセージセンター（MC271072）にて、OneDrive for Business は、最もセキュアなユーザーエクスペリエンスを実現するために 2021 年 8 月 20 日にて Windows Server 2008 R2 での OneDrive 同期クライアントのサポートを終了し、新しいテクノロジーとサポートされている OS（オペレーティングシステム）に集中されることがアナウンスされています。

※ Windows Server 2008 R2 の延長サポートは、2020 年 1 月に終了しています。

なお。サポートのされていないバージョンで実行されている同期クライアントも引き続き実行できますが、機能がテストされなくなるため、今後、ブロックされる可能性があります。

そのためこれらのサポートされていない OS（オペレーティングシステム）で実行を継続することはオススメしません。

※ Windows Server 2008 R2 の延長サポートは、2020 年 1 月に終了しています。

※ OneDrive 同期クライアントを Windows Server 2008 R2 上で使用していない場合は、このメッセージを無視して問題ありません。

そのためこれらのサポートされていない OS（オペレーティングシステム）で実行を継続することはオススメしません。

※ サポートされていない OS（オペレーティングシステム）で見つかった、またはサポートされていない OS（オペレーティングシステム）に固有のバグや問題は調査、または修正が行われなくなります。

このため、スムーズな移行を確実にするためには、Windows Server 2008 R2 で実行されているマシンを Windows Server 2016 または Windows Server 2019 へアップグレードする必要があります。

The OneDrive team is committed to bringing you the best, most secure experience possible across your devices.

As such, we are ending support for the OneDrive Desktop application (sync client) on Windows Server 2008 R2 and focusing our resources on new technologies and supported operating systems.

Note : Extended support for Windows Server 2008 R2 ended in January 2020.

If you are not using the OneDrive sync client with Windows Server 2008 R2 you can safely ignore this message.

How this affects your organization :

Clients running on unsupported versions may continue to run but their functionality will no longer be tested and they may be blocked at a later point in time.

Bugs and issues found on, or specific to, unsupported operating systems will no longer be investigated or fixed.
